It’s a recognition of the drive, the resilience, and all the ‘nos’ that we’ve received over the years, because you just need one ‘yes,’ and this award is really a testament to that.

Having that community support is just so vital because you can tap into connections and people that can support you along your journey. Community really is the bedrock of a tech ecosystem that supports tech founders.

Winning this award means absolutely everything. You know, we’ve been going for seven and a half years and culture has always been absolutely everything to do with the business.

For us, this is a massive deal. We have fought hard in this industry. For us to see people understand the sort of journey we’ve been on and also the success we’ve now come to is brilliant.

It’s just affirmation that being bigger doesn’t always mean that you’re better. It’s very affirming that you can run at your own pace and still win the race. It also shows the importance of stepping out of the box and doing stuff wild. It pays off.

It means so much for our mission because ERW—enhanced rock weathering—the technology that we use to remove carbon from the atmosphere, is one of the most scalable methods of removing carbon from the atmosphere.

What really motivates us at WeWalk is that we’ve been able to solve our own problems of visual impairment using our lived experience. So, we’re very grateful for the award. We can’t believe we’re here.

Everything that you do in business is so transparent these days. You’re so available to everyone on every platform, and it feels like people see right through it and they’ve seen something good in us, and I’m very proud.
